Plein Air Market for Vendors and Artists Participation Information for the Upcoming Home Tour, May 5, 2019

Our enthusiastic visitors are a great potential customer base for your products.

The Plein Air Market has a wonderful selection of artist booths that wind along the street as visitors make their way to each home on tour. This year's artists will offer distinctive art, unique handmade jewelry, clothing, as well as home, garden and gift items.

We are delighted that you are interested in participating in the Altadena Home Tour benefitting the Huntington Medical Research Institutes and Huntington Hospital programs, described in About Us Who Benefits Page of this website.

Time: 10:00am to 4:00pm

Vendor Area: The Plein Air Market will be located on the street in front of the homes along the walking tour.

Registration and Fees and Requested Donation: The non-refundable registration/booth fee of $100.00 should be made payable to the Altadena Guild of HMH. Please submit the fee before April 12, 2019, with your registration form. We ask for a donation of 15% of event sales, which is tax deductible.

Set-up and Take Down: Vendor set up will take place on Sunday, May 5, 2019, between 7:00am and 9:30am. This should allow enough time to set-up e-z ups, tents, tables, shelves, etc. Vendors are responsible for their own set up and equipment. We expect vendors to remain until the end of the tour (4:00pm). At that time you must reconcile your sales before you begin taking down your booth (a tally sheet will be provided for you).

Vendor Location and Assignments: Prior to the Home Tour, your location assignment will be sent to you via-email. On Sunday the street will be blocked off after 9:00am to vehicular traffic. We ask that you arrive between 7:00am and 8:00am in order to have plenty of time to unload, move your vehicle, and to set up your booth. Cars will only be allowed access from the west entrance at Allen Ave for an eastbound flow both morning and afternoon. All cars must be off of the street by 9:00am. There will be ample parking on neighboring streets to the east. Cars will be allowed back on the street at 4:00pm after the Home Tour.

Lunch: Please bring your own food/refreshments to have during the day. Sandwiches and beverages will be available for purchase at the Cafe/Bar.

Restrooms: There will be portable toilets available for you to use throughout the day.

Resale Number: EACH VENDOR MUST HAVE A CALIFORNIA RESALE NUMBER. You are responsible for handling your own sales and for collecting taxes on your sales.

Staffing: Please ensure that your booth is staffed at all times during the event as we will not be responsible for lost, stolen, damaged merchandise, or belongings.

Pets: No pets are allowed at the site at any time.

Responsibility: Vendors are responsible for any lost or damage to their belongings or merchandise. The Altadena Guild of the HMH does not assume any Liability.
