Cancellation of Home Tour 2020 –

Following the CDC, LA County and CA guildlines, we have no choice except to cancel the 69th Altadena Guild Home Tour on Sunday May 3, 2020.

March 22, 2020: Even though the "69th Annual Home and Garden Tour" was cancelled, the Guild still plans to make a substantial June 2020 donation in support of research at HMRI, HH's new Cardiac Care Center, The Constance G. Zahorik Appearance Center and the Altadena Guild Community Service Scholarship.

Donations received from the current Patron and Ticket Appeal are being directed to these. Now, more than ever, these facilities need our support. We welcome your participation. The Patron online form is activated to accept your kind donation. Donations Link.

The Guild was founded February 14, 1951, to support the work of the hospital. The first benefit was a tour of three houses in February 1952 with net proceeds of $428 given to help furnish offices of a newly established research facility, the Huntington Medical Research Institutes (HMRI). Now in its sixty-ninth year, the Altadena Guild has raised millions of dollars for HMRI and Huntington Hospital.

At the Hospital, the Guild underwrites employee scholarships and also supports the Constance G. Zahorik Appearance Center which benefits cancer patients. Guild members also recorded thousands of volunteer hours at the Hospital last year. And the Guild recently made a $100,000 commitment over three years for the Hospital’s new Cardiac Care Center.
